A digital reflection on faith, tradition, and connection during a Ramadan shaped by isolation.

Ramadan in Quarantine offered a reflective look at how the sacred month of Ramadan was experienced across the Gulf during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Featuring works by fifteen emerging Khaleeji artists, the digital exhibition reimagined moments of prayer, togetherness, and tradition within the constraints of lockdown. Through photography, digital illustration, and mixed media, the artists captured a Ramadan marked by stillness, introspection, and virtual connection. Presented digitally, the exhibition transformed personal moments into collective memory, highlighting how creativity and faith persisted even in isolation.

Visitors can now enjoy a selection of some of the works that were originally exhibited.
