Sumayyah Alsuwaidi is multi-award-winning Emirati curator and artist that is known for her digital art and active role in developing the UAE’s art scene further. She has exhibited her work globally, including in the USA, France, Germany, Switzerland, China and UAE. Her work was also auctioned by Christie’s in 2012 as part of The Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II Exhibition and exhibited at Sotheby’s Galleries in London as part of The Three Generations Exhibition in 2013.
In her gallery in the sky, which is available for passengers onboard Emirates Airlines to view through their inflight entertainment, Ice, Alsuwaidi recounts her artistic beginnings and walks viewers through her works She Loved Me, The Deer Snake and A Fishing Hope.
